Second Masters Degree: Complicit Architecture
The work presented here is the product of research undertaken at the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Johannesburg in pursuit of the MArch (Design, Theory, and Practice). The work is presented as a ‘text and a project with a mutually supportive relationship’. The work is presented in five parts comprising both text and drawings. A portfolio of drawings is presented as a fundamental component of Part 4. The drawings in this part constitute a representational ‘project’ and are not illustrations of the text but an independent representational body of work, a project operating in a mutually supporting relationship – in consort - with the text.
